GPS scavenging in the real world. Territory claimed with real recruits. A shared world that doesn't pause when you put your phone down.
Scorched Reach runs on real GPS. Your phone's location is your position in the Reach. The buildings around you are already ruins — the game maps them from real-world location data. You don't need to be anywhere special. The Reach is built on wherever you already go.
Ruins within range are scavengeable. Each has a cooldown. Each has a radiation level that affects your exposure. High-rad ruins yield more. They cost more to survive.
Every run returns loot: survival gear, medical supplies, crafting components, fuel, tech. What you find depends on what the ruin was. A pharmacy drops different resources than a hardware depot. A hospital is a great place to find medical supplies, but also the highest risk.
Resources build shelters. Shelters expand your range and your crew capacity. Recruits are found in the field — NPCs with classes, gear, and their own stats. They travel on missions, garrison ruins and, unfortunately, they don't always come back.
Ruins can be claimed. Claimed ruins can be garrisoned with recruits. Other players can contest them. The world is shared and real-time — the ruin you claim tonight is the ruin someone else is watching tomorrow.
You walk. You scavenge. The world keeps moving while you're not looking.
Ten survivor classes. Each carries a different history into the Reach and a different edge once they're there. You choose at registration. The class follows you. Tap any portrait to learn more.

Recruits are found in the field. They have classes, gear, and stats of their own. The ones who survive long enough become something else entirely.
Everyone starts as a Drifter. One Hideout. Six recruits. Twenty-five storage slots. Enough to survive. Enough to see what the Reach is. A dollar a month is the moment you decide to stay.
T1 is not a demo. The full game loop is available to every player at no cost: GPS scavenging, recruits, territory claiming, real-time faction conflict, the shared world. A Drifter can garrison ruins, contest territory, and earn ranks. T1 is the ground floor of a real game.
T2 and above unlock expanded capacity — more shelters, more recruits, deeper storage, higher rank ceilings. These are not paywalled mechanics. They are the scale a player needs once they have committed to building something worth defending.
The subscription is $1/month or $10/year. There are no loot boxes. No in-app purchases. No cosmetic store. No pay-to-win. The price is the price.

Four factions operate in the Reach. They have different methods, different leaders, and different reasons for holding what they hold. A Drifter can't move through all of it indefinitely. At some point, you need to ask yourself what you believe. That time is now.
The faction leaders speak for themselves.
